A parent-teacher association (PTA) is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a school.
Our PTA (Parent Teacher Association) purchases necessary items for the school that the county and state do not provide.
Our tax dollars cover the necessities, but Daves Creek Elementary takes it a step above other schools.
Our teachers have requested an additional $42,000 in curriculum support!
Over the past few years, our PTA has contributed up to an additional $62,000 to provide all of the things our students have utilized. Let’s make sure that we give our school all that they need to give your child the best education possible.
Your donation of $60 or $125 per student will help us give the school and teachers what they need.
Your donations help pay for items such as Media Center upgrades, school Chromebooks, science lab supplies, Raz Kids, Study Island, robotics supplies, author visits, and much, much more.
You will receive discounts to events and free items for joining our PTA. Our PTA hosts events for our students and families, such as Family Fun Night, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son bowling, Donuts with Dad, and Lego Night.
By participating in our “write a check” campaign, you will not have to do “door to door” fundraising (i.e. selling wrapping paper, cookie dough, magazines, etc.)
